Ann (Camuso) Proulx

March 4, 1937 — February 16, 2022

On February 16, 2022, Ann B. (Camuso) Proulx passed away peacefully surrounded by family, friends and music that she loved. She was born in Fall River and was the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Direnzo) Camuso. She was the wife of the late Andre "Andy" Proulx. Ann had a zest for life and always loved to be around people. She always enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and singing songs. Ann leaves behind a legacy of being loved by so many. She had a megawatt smile and a personality to match. Ann had many jobs during her life, including owning Ann’s Wicker and Gifts. The one job she enjoyed was working for 25 years at Walmart in Dartmouth and Fall River. She finally decided to retire at the age of 82 and enjoyed a full life dancing and travel until her illness. She leaves behind her best friend and brother Edward "Eddie" Camuso. Anyone who knows Ann and Eddie knew how strong their bond was. They watched out for each other and protected each other. Ann also leaves behind her children, Michael Proulx and wife Joan-Marie of Dartmouth, MA, Kevin Proulx and wife Michele, of Wellington, FL, Ann Proulx Morin and her husband John of Somerset, MA. She also was the proud Nana to Kelly Santos, Sergeant First Class, Ryan Proulx,US Army, Stephanie Robitaille and Andrew Morin. She also had 7 great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Collin and William Proulx, Lucas Santos, Jackson, Pierce, and Grant Robitaille. She also leaves her faithful companion, David Cordeiro who was always there for Ann and her beloved brother. Arrangements are with Auclair Funeral Home. Ann’s family will be holding a private service at a later date.
