Anita "Helen" (Silvia) Croteau

Anita "Helen" (Silvia) Croteau, 82, of Swansea, wife of Raymond Croteau, Sr., passed away Sunday March 21, 2021. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family in her final days.

She worked at Quaker Fabrics & Quaker Manufacturing for over 30 years where she was a head weaver and also a loom instructor. She was a woman of many talents and played many instruments such as the accordion, piano and guitar. She lit up every room she was in and was always the center of attention and life of the party.

Besides her husband of 63 years, she leaves five children, Raymond Croteau, Jr. (wife Dee), Michael Croteau (partner Michael Desrosiers), Sheryl Cousineau (husband Robert), Karen Hubbard and Stephen Croteau, Sr. (wife Dawn); nine grandchildren, Greg Croteau, Raymond Croteau III (wife Stasia), Thomas Croteau (wife Marlene), Nicole Hubbard (fiancé Matt Giannotti), Danielle Hubbard, Richie Abrams (wife Ashlie), William Hubbard, Alyssa Croteau and Stephen Croteau, Jr; 13 great-grandchildren Jayden, Leland, Aiden, Tyler, Jordan, Scottlyn D. and Raymond Croteau IV, Diem, Layla and Dominick Giannotti, Addison Love and Mack Abrams and Ashtin Martin; a sister, Carol Eddy and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Dorothy (Guimond) Silvia.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
