Anita M. Gagnon (Sevigny) O'Connell

Anita M. (Sevigny) Gagnon O'Connell, 92, of Florida, formerly of Fall River, Swansea and Tiverton, widow of Leo Gagnon and Regis O'Connell, died Monday, May 20, 2013. She worked in Fall River's garment industry and was a member of the senior citizens clubs of St. Anne and St. Theresa parishes. She leaves 2 children, Robert D. Gagnon and his wife Veronica of Mansfield, MA and Punta Gorda, FL, and Paulette Bixler and her husband David of Venice, FL; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Oliver and Catherine (Tetu) Sevigny and the sister of the late Loretta Poirier and Walter Lawrence and Amedee Sevigny. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 29, at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday, May 28, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
