Anita F. Melanson

Anita F. (Arsenault) Melanson, 94, of Fall River, widow of Edward J. Melanson, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was employed by the former NBC Garment. Survivors include 3 children, Paul L. Melanson (wife Lorraine) of Somerset, Pauline A. Zalkind (husband late Norman) of Fall River and David Melanson of Worcester; 5 grandchildren, Denise Vezina, Michelle Simoneau, and Michael, Raymond and Danielle Melanson; 6 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Belanger) Arsenault and the sister of the late Clara Antaya, Gertrude Forcier, and Adrien and Albert Arsenault. Her funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in Holy Trinity Church. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation and flowers omitted.
