Anita (Desrosiers) Bernard

Anita (Desrosiers) Bernard, 95, of Fall River, widow of Joseph Bernard, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, she also lived in Tiverton and Florida. A member of UNITE and employed by Darwood Manufacturing, she enjoyed traveling and was an avid Red Sox fan. She leaves nieces and nephews including her caregivers, Rita and Roger Beauregard of North Dartmouth; a sister-in-law Rita Desrosiers of FL and a special friend Nancy Clark. She was the mother of the late Kenneth Bernard (wife late Joanne), the daughter of the late George and Georgianna (Desrosiers) Desrosiers and the sister of the late Bernadette Alix, Beatrice Souza and George, Harold and Armand Desrosiers. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 9:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
