Angeline C. (Bernier) Valcourt

Angeline C. (Bernier) Valcourt, 98, formerly of Fall River and Somerset, wife of the late Roger Valcourt (founder of Valcourt Industrial Supply Co.), passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

She was a member of BMC Durfee High School's Class of 1937, a champion bowler of the Quequechan Club, and involved with Friends of Saint Anne's Hospital.

She leaves two children, Richard R. Valcourt and his wife Edina Zsarnai of New York, NY, and Madeleine A. Lithway and her husband David of Glen, NH, and formerly of Tiverton; grandchildren Jean Valcourt, Shariah Landry, Catherine Valcourt-Pearce and her husband Larry, Nicole Valcourt, and David H. Lithway, Jr., and his wife Natasha; great-grandchildren Brandon and Beck Landry, Victoria Lithway, Cole, Cree, Zev, and Kai Pearce, and nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Jordan Valcourt; the daughter of the late Albert and Georgianna (Couture) Bernier, and the sister of the late Herve Bernier, Jeanne Ross, Irene Aubin, Paul Bernier, and Helene Coulombe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass Saturday, September 23, at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Somerset. Visitation and flowers omitted. Donations may be made to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation, 200 Capri Isles Blvd., Ste. 7F, Venice, FL 34292 (www.pmsf.org).
