Andre Ruel

Andre Ruel, 79, of Fall River, husband of the late Marie Ange (Lachance) Ruel, and father of the late Jacques Ruel, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017.

During his lifetime, Andre was employed by Swan Finishing, Firestone Rubber, Goodyear Tire and Duro Finishing and was a member of the Liberal Club. His free time was spent watching various sports, especially when the Bruins played the Canadiens.

He leaves two sons, Ghislain "Jesse" Ruel and Cindy of Fall River and Richard Ruel and Leslie of Somerset; a grandson, Jason Deus of Fall River; siblings, Blandine Contois, Raymonde Carrier, Gatane Rouillard, Aline Petit and Noella Petit and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Alfred and Sylvenise (Beaudoin) Ruel, and the brother of late Rene Ruel, Giselle Rouillard and Marius Ruel.

His funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 9:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation, Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105
