Andre R. Lacroix

Andre R. LaCroix, 88, formerly of Fall River, husband of Rita (Letourneau) LaCroix, died Monday, April 14, 2014.A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a self employed painter and wallpaper hanger. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish Senior Citizens Club and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Stanislaus Church. Besides his wife of 64 years, he leaves 3 children, Denise Cyr (husband John) of Franklin, Claudette Laffan (former husband Daniel) of Berkley, and Paul LaCroix (wife Jodi) of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Rebecca Howe, Jason, Sarah, Stephanie and Jeremy Laffan, Laura Mulhall, Nicholas Correia (wife Jaime), Brian Correia and Kimberly, Joshua, Christine and Margaret LaCroix; great-grandchildren, Emily and Nathan Howe and Camden Correia and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Albert and Eva (Remy) LaCroix and the brother of the late Madeleine Berube, Robert LaCroix and Aline Pero. His funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Stanislaus Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE entrance at the rear of funeral home.
