Andre R. "Andy" Gagnon

Andre R. "Andy" Gagnon, 75, of Dwelly St., Fall River, formerly of Alsop St., husband of Maureen (McCarthy) Gagnon, died Sunday, April 19, 2009. He owned and operated the former Pop's Service Station, Plymouth Ave., for many years and was a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, Tiverton, past-president of the Lions Club and a former member of the Montaup County Club. Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves 2 children, Catherine McCarthy of Rehoboth and Kenneth A. Gagnon of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Patrick M. McCarthy and Vale C. Souza; siblings, Rita Pelletier of Fall River and Albert "Pete" Gagnon of Somerset; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Albert "Pop" and Almina (Levesque) Gagnon and the brother of the late Ernest, Lionel and Oscar Gagnon, Jeannette Pestana and Lillian Perreault. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church, at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
