Andre R. Devillers

Andre R. deVillers, 82, of Tiverton, proprietor of deVillers Pharmacy, Fall River, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009. A Navy veteran of WW II and graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School and Rhode Island School of Pharmacy, he operated deVillers Pharmacy with his late father and daughter for the past 60 years. A Charter member of the Exchange Club and generous benefactor to friends and patrons, he dedicated himself to many community philanthropic causes. He was the father of Diane Versocki (husband Richard) of Bedford, TX, Denise deVillers Lopes (husband James) of Somerset and David de Villers (wife Lynne) of Los Altos, CA; the grandfather of Christina and Andrew Versocki, both of Texas, Nicholas de Villers of California and Andrea Lopes of Somerset; the brother of Cecile Cote of Fall River, Robert deVillers of Delaware and the late Dr. Paul R. deVillers; the beloved friend of Beverly Durfee of Tiverton; the former husband of Lorraine Y. (Gravel) deVillers of Somerset and the son of the late Romeo and Alice (Boudreau) deVillers. Visitation, Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
