Andre G. Cantin

Andre G. Cantin, 79, of Swansea, husband of Annette (Chagnon) Cantin, entered into rest Sunday, October 11, 2015. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was a carpenter and also operated Ace Mobile Locksmith for many years. Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves four children, Daniel Cantin and his wife Patricia, Richard Cantin and Roger Cantin, all of Swansea and Dianne Granados and her husband Octavio of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Meghann Gould and her husband Bryan and Jared, Jacqueline and Stephanie Cantin; great-grandchildren, Caoilainn, Aislinn and Finley Gould; sisters, Anita Limoncelli of CT, Annette DeNardo of Fall River and Florence Fournier of Westport and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Laurent and Eva (Gagnon) Cantin and the brother of the late Reginald, Lionel, Aime, Marcel, Normand J. B., Raymond and Louis Cantin. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea at 10:00 a.m. Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
