Alice Pimentel

Alice (Soares) Pimentel, 88, of Fall River, wife of the late Ernest M. Pimentel, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. Born in Sé�o Vincente Ferreira, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Augostinho and Guilhermina (Ferreira) Soares. She was the sister of the late Herculano Soares. Alice came to America at the age of 16 and became a citizen in 1979. She worked in various factories as a buttonhole operator retiring early due to illness.

She leaves three children, Augustine "Augie", Ernie and Elizabeth Pimentel Dourado; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Alice's family would like to Thank the East Wing staff of Country Gardens Nursing Home for all that they did to make mom comfortable, especially, April, Gina and Stephanie. You guys were great.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance at the rear of the funeral home. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
