Alice (Talbot) Gauthier

Alice (Talbot) Gauthier, 97, formerly of Ridge St., Fall River, widow of Albert R. Gauthier, died Friday, October 8, 2010. At St. Anne Parish, she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and publicity agent, secretary and treasurer of the Senior Citizens Club. Past-president of the Sarah Brayton Resident Council, she cherished time spent with family and enjoyed sewing, playing cards and socializing with friends. She leaves five children, Jeanne Chaunt (husband Raymond) of Fall River, Annette Bouchard (husband Ronald) of Middleboro, Edouard A. Gauthier (wife Joan) of Windham, ME, and Robert W. Gauthier (wife Joanne) and Diane Smith (husband James), all of Assonet; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews. Also a resident of Wompanoag Lane, Tiverton for several years, she was the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Clara (Bernard) Talbot and the sister of the late Wilfred and Ernest Talbot. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
