Alice (Houde) Forcier

Alice (Houde) Forcier, 86, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River, widow of Rene B. Forcier, died Saturday, November 1, 2008. A Durfee High School graduate, she was employed by Center Garment.
She leaves 5 children, Roger Forcier (wife Pauline) and Muriel Pomprowicz, all of Fall River, Doris Bourque (husband James) of Swansea, Richard Forcier (Michelle Kazen) of Tiverton and Denise Amorin (husband Louis) of Fall River; grandchildren, Christopher Bourque, Carrie Delemos, Mark Pomprowicz, Roger and Paulette Forcier, Melissa Medeiros and Frank and Clarissa Amorin; great-grandchildren; siblings, Laurette Deslauriers of Fall River and Dr. Robert Houde of Rochester, NY and nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Ida (Menard) Houde; the mother of the late Claire Forcier and the sister of the late Raymond Houde and Jeanne McNerney.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Dominic Church, Swansea at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Unit, Country Gardens, 2045 GAR Highway, Swansea MA 02777.
