Alice (Mello) Daponte

Alice (Mello) DaPonte, 83, of So. Beacon St., Fall River, widow of Francisco "Frank" DaPonte, died Monday, September 17, 2007. A homemaker, she was an avid traveler. She leaves nieces and nephews including Steven C. Mello and his wife Michelle of Fall River, Noreen Medeiros and her husband Ronald of Somerset, Marilyn Lake and her husband Larry of Rochester and Gerald Mello of Fall River. She was the daughter of the late John and Candida (Silvia) Mello; the sister of the late Mary Martin and George, John, Charles and Alfred Mello and the aunt of the late George Mello, Jr.. Public visitation, Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited.
