Alice (Ponte) Cyr

Alice (Ponte) Cyr, 93, formerly of Fall River, wife of the late Raymond J. Cyr, entered into rest Friday, March 11, 2016. She was employed by Raytheon Company, Portsmouth, RI and McGovern's Family Restaurant, Fall River. She leaves a son, Raymond P. Cyr and his wife Linda of Florida; grandchildren, Kevin Cyr and Erika Cyr-Camara (husband Peter); nephews, Michael and Patrick Ponte and nieces, Pauline Duphily and Patricia Serodio. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Lavina (Garcia) Ponte and the sister of the late Manuel Ponte, Jr. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a committal service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 2:45 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
