Albert Remy

Albert Remy, 92, formerly of Swansea, Somerset and Fall River, husband of the late Marion Bernice (Williams) Remy, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.

He was an Army veteran of WW II, was employed at the Quonset Point Naval Air Station and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Swansea. Mr. Remy and his late wife operated the former Remy's Garage on Second St., Fall River and Remy's Plaza Exxon, Warren, RI

He leaves four children, Thomas W. Remy (wife Barbara) of Swansea, Marion R. Abren (late husband Joseph) of Fall River, Carol L. Rudis Albert W. Remy (wife Nancy) all of Somerset; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward Remy of Bourne, Leon Remy and Bernadette Adam, both of Fall River and Lorraine Remy of Swansea. He was the father of the late Norma Snow (husband William of Berkley); the brother of the late Rene Remy, Andrew Remy, Anita Francoeur Marshall and Bertha Boyer and the son of the late Telesphore and Irene (Courchaine) Remy.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:15 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a
funeral mass at St. Thomas More Church, Somerset at 9:30 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati OH 45250-0301.
