Albert Rancourt

Albert Rancourt, 84, of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Fall River, husband of Eunice (Blanchette) Rancourt, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by Engelhard Corporation, Plainville, MA for many years. Besides his wife of 61 years, he leaves 5 children, Denise Stanton (late husband Thomas), of Cape Coral, FL, Michael Rancourt (Janet) of Webster, MA, Karen Sylvia (Robert) of No. Dartmouth, David Rancourt (Dolly) of Brandon, FL and Kim Ayotte (Ronald) of Tiverton; grandchildren, Jameson DePaola, Justin, Dale and Tabitha Rancourt, Kristopher and Ryan Ayotte and Brooke Sylvia; a great-granddaughter, Jazmyn DePaola; siblings, Jeannette Wolf of Tampa, FL, Laurent Rancourt of Little Compton, RI, Paul Rancourt of Dennis, MA and Theresa Rancourt of Swansea; a stepbrother, Robert Goyette of Oregon and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Emile and Yvonne (LeBreux) Rancourt; the stepson of the late Emma (Gagnon) Goyette Rancourt; the brother of the late Claire Torpey and Edward, Leo, Norman, Maurice, Robert and Aime Rancourt; and the stepbrother of the late Rene Goyette. His funeral service will be held Monday, at 12:00 noon in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
