Albert A. Laverdiere, Jr.

Albert A. Laverdiere, Jr. was born on March 27, 1947, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025. 

Born in Fall River, Albert was the son of Albert and Linda (Viveiros) Laverdiere.

He was a dedicated union member who spent numerous years working at Duro Finishing, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues throughout his career. A passionate sports enthusiast, Albert loved to cheer for all the New England sports teams, demonstrating his unwavering support and loyalty. In addition to his love for sports, he found joy in staying active, especially through long walks. Albert particularly cherished his serene walks on the beach, where he could connect with nature and reflect on life. 

Albert is survived by his beloved family, including his son Chris Laverdiere (Wife Jennifer) and daughter Alison Almeida. He was a proud grandfather to Katelyn, Kendra, and Jaxson, who brought him much joy and pride. He is also survived by his siblings, Nancy Laverdiere and Ronald Laverdiere (wife Joan). Albert's life was deeply influenced by the love and guidance of his late father, Albert R. Laverdiere, and mother, Linda (Viveiros) Laverdiere. Their memories and lessons will forever resonate within the hearts of those he leaves behind.
