Albert "Dick" Couto

Albert "Dick" Couto, 84, of Swansea, husband of the late Lauretta G. (Banville) Bouchard Couto, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017.

He worked in the garment industry and was a longtime musician with several area bands.

He leaves four stepchildren, Louis L. Bouchard, Jr. and his wife Linda of Tiverton, Lucille G. Aguiar (late husband Charles) of Fall River, Anne Marie Bank and her husband David of Somerset and William C. Bouchard, Sr. and his wife Francine of Swansea; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Maria Theresa (Martin) Couto; and the brother of the late Joseph Couto, Jr., Manuel Couto and Mary Lucy Silvia.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Dominic Church, Swansea, at 10:30 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
