Adrienne M. (Durand) Wilding, 95, of Stafford Rd., Tiverton, wife of William N. Wilding and co-founder, with her husband of Wilding Auto Sales, died Saturday, February 14, 2009.
A Tiverton Senior Center Honorary Life Member and Providence Diocese Home Visitor volunteer, she was employed by AP, W.T. Grant and Aetna Insurance.
Besides her husband of 68 years, she leaves 5 children, Gloria E. Arrugo and her husband Richard of Fall River, Norma L. Farrell of Mt. Dora, FL, David N. Wilding and his wife (Madeline), William G. "Mouse" Wilding and his wife (Rose Marie Capone-Wilding) of Frostproof, FL and Nancy T. Cormier and her husband Paul "Butch" of Tiverton; grandchildren, Janet Palmer, Christine Roy, David and Scott Wilding, Robin Molleur and Rebecca Magrath; 13 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Romuald and Lucie (Desrosiers) Durand and the sister of the late Roger, Adrien, Louis and Daniel Durand.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Forever Paws Animal Shelter, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River MA 02721 or Catholic Charities Appeal, 450 Highland Ave., Fall River MA 02720 would be appreciated.
