Adrien J. Cote

Adrien J. Cote, 95, formerly of Lafayette Place, Fall River, husband of the late Irene (Emard) Cote, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at Catholic Memorial Home. An Army veteran of WW II, he served in Okinawa. A member of the Teamsters Union, he was employed by Ann-Dale Cookie Co. and the St. Vincent de Paul Store. He was a member of the Notre Dame Parish Knights of Columbus and the Tiverton Knights of Columbus Bowling League. He was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and enjoyed Bingo. He was the father of Paul Cote (wife Maria) of West Lebanon, NH, Robert Cote (wife Deborah), Suzanne Copass (late husband Mark) and the late Ronald Cote (wife Carolyn) all of Fall River; the grandfather of Donna Scipione (Angelo), Michael Cote (Susan), Kevin Cote (Claire), and Michelle, Matthew, Megan, and Melissa Cote; the great-grandfather of Christina, Kaitlyn, and Erica Scipione, and Eve, Benjamin, and Laura Cote; the son of the late Alfred and Delia (Francoeur) Cote; the brother of the late Severine Lachance, Raymond Cote, and Armande Suprenant; and also leaves nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
