Adele G. Dussault (Bois) Hooper

Adele G. (Bois) Dussault Hooper died on January 30, 2015 in Providence, RI after a brief illness. Adele, born on October 1, 1920 in Bridgewater, MA was 94 years old and the daughter of the late Theodore Bois and Mary Louise (Chassey) Bois. She was a 1939 graduate of Bridgewater High School. She moved to Fall River Ma in 1939 where she resided most of her life. She married the late Albert A. Dussault and raised a family of three daughters and two sons. Years after her husband Albert's passing she remarried and moved to Woburn, Ma. In 1997 Adele moved back to Fall River and has been there until the present time. Adele was a devoted wife and mother. She was employed at St. Anne's Credit Union in Fall River, Choate Memorial Hospital in Woburn, Gilchrist's in Stoneham and Winchester Savings Bank until her retirement. Adele is predeceased by her husband Albert A., her son Richard T. Dussault (wife Paulette of Fall River) her daughter Claire B. (Dussault) Poisson (husband Gerald of Fall River) her grandson Albert Poisson, and granddaughter Danielle L. Picinisco. She is survived by her daughter Diane L. Mooney (late husband Fred) of Swansea Vivian S. Picinisco (husband Bernie) of Dartmouth, and her son Alan M. Dussault (wife Catherine) of Woburn. She is the loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Anita (Bois) St. Denis and the late Raymond L. Bois of South Yarmouth, Ma. Adele loved to dance and to travel and she did both well. In her later years she enjoyed the company of her friends and the fun they all had playing Bingo. Active and young at heart, she would often say "No one gives me my age" No one ever felt that she looked or acted like someone 94 years old. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 a.m.. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
