Adam Luz, 38, lost his battle with addiction on Saturday, February 27th 2021.
Adam was born on December 20th, 1982 and lived in Florida for a few years after graduating from B.M.C. Durfee High School. He then settled in Boston.
He is survived by his son, Elijah Luz of Bloomingdale, GA; his parents, Stephen Luz and Ana Santos, also loved as a son by George Santos; brother of Aimee Raynard and her husband Matthew and their son Luca; grandmother, Helena (Vasconcellos) Goncalo; his love and companion, Lexi Pino and her daughter Ayla; aunts, uncle and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Joao Goncalo and the late Edmund "Flip" and Eulalia "Lolly" (Teixeira) Luz.
Many knew Adam only through the lens of addiction. This was an internal battle he struggled with for years. However, this was not the real Adam. Those of us fortunate enough to truly know him enjoyed his laughter, his love for sneakers and his ability to make everyone around him feel happy. He left so many "feel good" memories that will last a lifetime and stay with us forever.
