Maria C. (Cesar) Dasilva

Maria (Cesar) DaSilva, 77, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Joao C. DaSilva.

Born in Livermento, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Aires and Maria (Perreira) Cesar.

A member of ILGWU, Maria was employed by Anderson Little.

Her passion in life was taking care of her family.  She showed her love through cooking for loved ones and friends.

Maria was an amazing Vavo who cherished her time with the grandchildren and family.

Maria leaves four children, Helia Cidade (husband David), Paul DaSilva (wife Dawn), Carlos DaSilva (companion Alec) and Kelly Silvester (husband Steve); eight grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Antonio, Quinn, Faith, Nathan, Gavin and Deor; three siblings, Ilidio Cesar, Maria Lourdes Botelho and Leonard Cesar; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 3, from 8:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, with a Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Church, South Main St. Fall River, at 11:00 AM.

Burial to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
