Arlindo "Rocky" Verissimo

Arlindo “Rocky” Verissimo, 59, of Tiverton, passed away at home with his family by his side after a long illness. He was the husband of Rhonda M. (LaForce) Verissimo. They have spent the last 25 years together. Born in Relva, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of Laurenio Verissimo of Fall River and the late Maria F. (Sousa) Verissimo.

Rocky was a self employed contractor.  He liked fishing and spending time with friends. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Besides his wife and father, Rocky leaves his  son, Avery Verissimo of Tiverton; a brother, Aguinaldo “Shorty” Verissimo and his wife Pamela J. Verissimo of Fall River; many nieces and nephews.

He was the son-in-law of the late Maggie LaForce; and the brother of the late Maria C. Cabral, John Verissimo and Armando “Peanit” Verissimo.

Relatives and friends are invited Saturday, February 10 to a visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., with a funeral service in the funeral home following at 11:00 A.M.
